Scenes from the Cachaco Ciclopaseo

In the Cachaco Ciclopaseo, held last Saturday, riders wear clothing of times past. This year, Colombia's bicentennial, has brought an emphasis on history. Cachaco is slang for a Bogotá resident.

This rider seems to be racing a Transmilenio bus - another Bogotá icon.

In front of the San Francisco Church, Bogotá's oldest. Center right, holding cap, is ride organizer David Serna, of Mejor en Bici.
